Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of seafood, grilled dishes and other menu items in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.

Assist with daily food preparation to ensure ingredients are ready for efficient kitchen operations during service periods.

Monitor cooking times and presentation to ensure every meal is served consistently and meets customer expectations.





Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate meal preparation during busy service periods.

Inspect ingredients before use to ensure freshness, quality and compliance with food safety requirements.

Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen while following food safety and sanitation procedures.

Store food items correctly and monitor stock rotation to minimise waste and maintain product quality.

Assist in receiving kitchen deliveries and report any shortages or quality concerns to senior kitchen staff.

Support the development of seasonal dishes and contribute ideas to improve menu offerings where appropriate.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures and assist in maintaining kitchen equipment in good working condition.

Skills and Experience Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 1 year of Experience as a Cook is mandatory.

Experience working with seafood and grill-based cuisine will be highly regarded.

Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.

- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced team setting, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
