? Cyber Security Engineer | Federal Government | Canberra / Hybrid

We're recruiting an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join the eSafety Commissioner and play a key role in uplifting the organisation's cyber security operations capability.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for enhancing Microsoft Sentinel , improving SIEM operations, developing KQL queries, automating threat detection and response, and strengthening security tooling across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key skills:

- 5+ years' experience with Microsoft security technologies (Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Microsoft 365)
- Solid SIEM administration, log source integration, KQL, alerting and playbook development
- Experience with SecOps, incident response and security tooling
- Knowledge of Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF & Essential Eight)
- Relevant cyber security certifications highly regarded
