Our consultants deliver services across cyber security assurance, governance, risk and compliance, security architecture and engineering, penetration testing, incident response, critical infrastructure and specialist advisory services.

We are now seeking an experienced Cyber Talent Delivery Consultant to actively work within, build, manage and expand this talent capaiblity.
The opportunity
This is a hands-on recruitment delivery role for someone who enjoys identifying talented people, understanding their experience and matching them with meaningful government opportunities.

The role will suit an experienced recruiter, talent resourcer or recruitment delivery consultant who is highly organised, persistent and motivated by successful long-term placements rather than short-term commission outcomes.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- identifying and engaging cyber security, technology and digital professionals;
- developing and maintaining active talent pools across priority cyber disciplines;
- sourcing candidates through professional networks, databases, referrals, social media and direct approaches;
- screening candidates against technical, commercial and government client requirements;
- confirming citizenship, security clearance, availability, location, employment status and rate expectations;
- assessing candidate experience and preparing high-quality candidate submissions;
- coordinating interviews,

- maintaining accurate and current candidate, opportunity and placement records;
- working with Excelium’s cyber specialists to validate technical capability;
- supporting account leads in responding to Commonwealth Government resource requirements;
- producing regular reporting on opportunities, candidates, submissions, placements and contractor availability; and
- helping establish consistent processes, templates, systems and performance measures for the Specialist Resource Placement division.
About you
You will ideally have
- three or more years of experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, recruitment delivery or contractor placement;
- experience recruiting within technology, cyber security, Defence, national security or Commonwealth Government environments;
- an understanding of government contracting, labour hire or professional services arrangements;
- demonstrated experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates;
- strong candidate screening and qualification skills;
- experience preparing professional candidate profiles, CVs or client submissions;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping;
- the ability to manage multiple vacancies, candidates and deadlines concurrently;
- confidence discussing rates, availability, contract conditions and candidate expectations;
- a disciplined and responsive approach to candidate and client communication; and
- a willingness to remain personally involved in the detailed sourcing, administration and follow-up required to achieve successful placements.
Previous experience working with security-cleared personnel or recruiting for Australian Government clients will be highly regarded. You do not need to be a cyber security practitioner. However,
you must be interested in learning the different cyber / IT security disciplines and developing an informed understanding of the roles you recruit.
What will make you successful

- enjoy finding and engaging high-quality candidates;
- build genuine and trusted relationships;
- follow through consistently and do not allow candidates or actions to be overlooked;

- are commercially aware without being solely motivated by commission;
- take ownership of the complete recruitment delivery process;
