Role Description The Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) will support BSY’s programs and operations by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data related to participant engagement, learning outcomes, and remote work opportunities. In this part-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, the team member will work both on-site and from home, preparing reports and dashboards that inform decision-making and program improvements. Day-to-day tasks include organizing datasets, performing basic statistical analysis, assisting in building simple data models, and interpreting trends to provide actionable insights for the team. The role also involves collaborating with program leads to define data requirements, communicating findings in a clear and accessible way, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications

- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Foundational knowledge of data analytics and familiarity with common analytical tools or platforms (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, basic BI tools).
- Understanding of statistics, including basic descriptive and inferential concepts relevant to program evaluation.
- Experience or coursework in data modeling, with the ability to structure data for reporting and simple forecasting.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Sydney
