Define and maintain data standards, definitions, the data dictionary, source-of-truth rules and the master-data/golden-record approach for the member record.
Set data quality standards and govern the quality, integrity and governance of CRM data, including deduplication, matching rules and remediation priorities.
Operationalise privacy-by-design by defining consent capture, communication preferences and data handling standards, in consultation with the Privacy Officer.
Establish and maintain standards for how organisational and member-service knowledge and records are structured, classified, retained and made findable.
Maintain information architecture, taxonomy and records governance aligned with privacy and retention requirements.
Define role-based access and field-level security standards for sensitive data and maintain lifecycle and integration data integrity across connected systems.
Provide governance sign-off on data changes, migrations, new integrations and data flows, assessing data quality, security and privacy impacts.
Maintain an audit trail of significant data, consent and records decisions and provide data and information governance support for strategic digital initiatives. What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated experience in data governance, data standards, master data / source-of-truth, and data quality frameworks.
Experience operationalising privacy and consent in a CRM or data environment (privacy-by-design, consent management).
Experience in information or records governance, classification, taxonomy, retention and findability.
Experience with CRM data ecosystems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse.
Experience in a member-based organisation, professional body, not-for-profit or health setting handling sensitive data is desirable.
A relevant qualification in data governance, information / records management or privacy is desirable.
A working understanding of privacy obligations (e.g. the Australian Privacy Principles) and how they apply to member data.
Robust analytical and standard-setting skills, with the ability to set standards and influence across teams without direct authority.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Customer Insights or data quality tooling is desirable, at a level sufficient to define standards, assess configuration options and direct work performed by others. Hands-on configuration of these tools is not a requirement of the role; configuration and build are performed by the Digital Delivery team, IT and implementation partners working to this role's standards.
