As Sharon AI continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our mission-critical data centre facilities.

Working closely with Network, Infrastructure, Security and Facilities teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability and security of critical infrastructure while leading a high-performing operations team. From managing power and cooling systems through to incident response, vendor management and continuous operational improvement, you'll play a key role in keeping our environments running at the highest standard. What You'll Be Doing

Lead the day-to-day operations of Sharon AI's data centre facilities, ensuring maximum uptime and operational resilience.

Oversee critical infrastructure including power, cooling, environmental monitoring and facility systems.

Lead, mentor and develop the on-site Data Centre Operations team, including rostering, coaching and performance management.

Manage physical security, access control and site safety processes.

Coordinate planned maintenance activities, contractor access and vendor management.





Partner closely with the Network Operations Centre (NOC) to ensure rapid incident resolution and operational continuity.

Own major incident and outage response, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

Maintain and improve operational procedures, change management processes and documentation.

Coordinate capacity planning across power, cooling and rack space alongside Infrastructure and Network teams.

Manage relationships with critical infrastructure vendors including power, cooling, fire suppression and security providers.

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, as well as relevant operational certifications.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, resilience and operational maturity across the facility.

Participate in an on-call roster and provide leadership during after-hours operational incidents when required. What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

5-10+ years' experience within data centre operations, facilities management or critical infrastructure environments.

Demonstrated experience leading operational teams in 24/7 mission-critical environments.

Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling and environmental monitoring systems.





Proven experience managing incidents and driving effective operational outcomes under pressure.

Experience managing vendors, contractors and service level agreements.

Strong knowledge of physical security, access control and health & safety requirements.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

Strong documentation, process management and continuous improvement mindset.

Ability to prioritise effectively and make sound decisions in fast-paced operational environments.

Data centre certifications such as CDCP, CDCS or equivalent.

Experience using Building Management Systems (BMS) or Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platforms.

Familiarity with Tier III and Tier IV data centre standards.

Experience within colocation or multi-tenant data centre environments.

Knowledge of UPS, generator and fire suppression systems.

Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.

Experience supporting AI infrastructure, GPU clusters or high-density compute environments.
