Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift Manager to join the team at our site in Bibra Lake.

The Day Shift Manager (7am - 3pm) is responsible for ensuring production targets are met by providing support and direction to teams. The successful incumbent will drive a sustainable operation with focus on continuous improvement to deliver all safety, quality and production targets in accordance with quality standards.

This includes: Lead safety by example through consistent actions and zero tolerance for unsafe conditions and behaviours

Support daily site meeting with prepared WIP report, advising current status of issues and actions carried out

Supervise production to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies in keeping with meeting customer and business requirements

Monitor production output and address delays or bottlenecks

Encourage and lead employee engagement through open two-way communications and developing and fostering structured improvement activities





Oversee all administrative functions such as payroll submissions, to be completed in an accurate and timely manner

Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SOPs and policies are adhered to Discover your sustainable future…

For this role we would ideally like you to have: Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced & dynamic manufacturing environment

Experience with SAP systems would be advantageous

Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs Excel & Word

Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
