Role Description The DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer at MAS Recursos Humanos will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation for infrastructure and application deployment in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day activities include managing and improving CI pipelines, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services.

The role involves collaborating with development teams to streamline release processes, applying infrastructure as code practices, and maintaining secure, scalable environments. The engineer will also document operational procedures, participate in incident reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of tools and workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Experience in Software Development and scripting (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to build and maintain automation, tooling, and integrations.




- Hands-on expertise in Continuous Integration and delivery pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in System Administration and Linux, including configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and incident management practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, part time setting with strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in DevOps/SRE roles.
