Role Description This part-time remote DevOps Engineer role at MS Consultoria & Educação Permanente focuses on building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure to support software delivery. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage CI pipelines, automate deployment workflows, and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and configure cloud and on-premises environments. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with development teams on release processes, monitoring system performance and availability, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing improvements to enhance stability and efficiency.

The role also involves maintaining Linux-based systems, optimizing resource usage, improving observability, and documenting configurations, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent operations.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar solutions.

Proficiency in Software Development and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)



to automate workflows and integrate systems.

Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable platforms.

Robust System Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers and services.

Solid experience working with Linux environments, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security hardening.

Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.

Familiarity with observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks) to support monitoring and incident response.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities in a part-time schedule, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
