Are you passionate about community-led education, digital inclusion, and self-determination? As our Digital Capability and Training Design Lead, you will be the driving force behind making our vision a reality. Working directly alongside our CEO, you will lead the design, curriculum development, and execution of all community learning initiatives—from grassroots workshops and youth camps to major national conferences.

This isn't just an education role; it’s an opportunity to build digital capability grounded in cultural safety, ensuring Mob have the skills and confidence to lead in the digital age. What You'll Do:

Design & Deliver Impactful Learning: Oversee curriculum development and pedagogical approaches for formal courses, tech workshops, youth camps, and national events.

Champion Data Sovereignty: Practically embed the principles of Indigenous Data Sovereignty (IDS) and digital rights into all training frameworks.

Grow Our Digital Communities: Drive deep, sustainable community engagement across face-to-face environments.

Collaborate Strategically: Work hand-in-hand with the CEO, Strategic Pillar Leads, and our Operations team to turn community needs into practical, high-impact training programs.





Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a collaborative, adaptable leader who thrives on building capability and connecting with community. Ideally, you bring: Educational Design Expertise: Demonstrated success developing and scaling educational courses, workshops, and youth programs, ideally within an Indigenous community context.

Leadership Strength: Experience managing, inspiring, and mentoring training teams or field-based mentors.

Cultural & Technical Alignment: A strong operational understanding of Indigenous Data Sovereignty (IDS) and digital rights, with the ability to teach these concepts practically.

Community Platform Experience: Experience driving engagement on learning management systems (LMS) or community platforms like Mighty Networks.

Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Education, IT, Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences, or equivalent relevant experience. A Cert IV in Training & Assessment is highly regarded.

A valid Australian Driver’s License and willingness to travel to regional and remote locations (all travel costs covered).

A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or state equivalent.

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Given the scope of this role, preference will be given to applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
