About the Role An established energy markets advisory firm is seeking a Director Energy (Commercial) to lead strategic and commercial engagements across Australia's energy sector

.Working with renewable energy developers, investors, corporates and market participants, you will advise on major renewable energy, BESS, and electricity market opportunities, supporting investment decisions, commercial structuring, and transaction execution

Key Responsibilities

- Lead commercial, strategic and market advisory projects across the Australian power sector.
- Advise on renewable energy and BESS development, revenue optimisation and market participation strategies.
- Structure and support the execution of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), offtake agreements and other commercial arrangements.
- Provide market, policy and investment insights to developers, investors and large energy users.
- Drive business development,



originate new opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Lead project teams and contribute to the growth of the advisory practice.

About You

- 10+ years' experience in Australia's energy market (NEM experience essential).
- Robust background in energy advisory, consulting, project development, infrastructure, investment or energy markets.
- Experience with BESS, PPAs, commercial structuring, transaction advisory and capital/investment processes.
- Proven track record in business development, client management and practice leadership.
- Excellent commercial, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
