An exceptional prospect is available for an accomplished healthcare executive to join a leading private healthcare organisation as Director of Clinical Services.

This executive leadership role will see you oversee clinical and operational performance across two established private healthcare facilities within the Newcastle and Hunter region. Working closely with executive leaders, Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and multidisciplinary teams, you will drive strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, workforce capability, operational efficiency and sustainable service growth.

An exciting permanent full-time position where you will provide strategic and operational leadership across two busy private healthcare facilities, with responsibilities including:

- Leading operational performance, patient flow and service delivery across both sites
- Driving clinical excellence, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Leading workforce planning, capability development and staff engagement
- Supporting financial performance, budgeting and operational efficiencies
- Identifying and delivering opportunities for service expansion and innovation
- Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, accreditation and safety standards

About You To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Significant senior leadership experience within a private hospital or complex healthcare environment




- Previous experience as a Director of Clinical Services (DCS), Associate Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) or equivalent executive leadership role
- Strong understanding of private hospital operations and healthcare service delivery
- Proven experience leading operational performance, patient flow and organisational change
- Highly developed commercial, financial and analytical capability
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clinicians, VMOs and executive teams
- Demonstrated success leading workforce development and high-performing teams
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical governance, safety and quality frameworks

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Postgraduate clinical qualification
- Executive-level leadership experience within healthcare
