$36.81–$45.28 per hour + applicable penalties (depending on qualifications, experience, and SCHADS Award classification)

Mawcare+ is a small, family-owned and operated Supported Independent Living (SIL) service based in Grovedale, Victoria. We provide individualised, person-centred accommodation and support to people with disabilities. The Role
We're looking for Disability Support Workers to provide practical assistance and meaningful engagement to our participants. The successful applicant will be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts. Shift lengths range from three to eight hours.
About You
Formal qualifications are not essential. We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified candidates. What we value most is your reliability, compassion and positive attitude. Pay rates are based on qualifications,
experience and the applicable SCHADS Award classification.
You'll be a excellent fit if you have:
- Experience in disability, aged care, community services or a similar caring role (paid or unpaid) is highly regarded
- A calm, positive approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to follow direction and communicate well
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
