About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to support a participant with complex based patient , neurological, and mental health needs.

This is a high-support, person-centered role requiring strong mental health and Dementia experience . The ideal candidate will be committed to empowering the participant while maintaining safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred dementia care and administer medications in accordance with the participant’s care plan and relevant procedures.
- Monitor behavioural changes and respond appropriately using the strategies outlined in the participant’s behaviour support plan.
- Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support to promote the participant’s wellbeing and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate care records and promptly report any changes, incidents,



or concerns to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

- Native English speakers preferred (as per participant preference)
- Female candidates only (participant’s personal preference)
- Strong Dementia experience and medication management skills
- Knowledge and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans
- High-level empathy, patience, and compassion
- First Aid and CPR (seizure management training is a plus)
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver’s license and reliable transport

Desirable:

- Experienced female candidates with dementia and behavioral management experience
- Experience working with clients with neurological or psychiatric conditions
