About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide one-on-one, community-based support tailored to each participant's individual goals, strengths and interests. Every shift has purpose. Whether you're supporting someone to learn a new life skill, gain confidence catching public transport, prepare for employment, or become more independent in everyday life, you'll play an important role in helping participants achieve meaningful outcomes.

Your responsibilities may include

- Community access and social participation
- Capacity building and independent living skills
- Travel training and confidence using public transport
- Supporting participants to access employment, volunteering and education opportunities
- Encouraging independence with daily routines and decision-making
- Building positive relationships with participants, families and the wider community
- Completing high-quality progress notes that reflect participant outcomes and goal achievement

No two days are the same, but every shift is focused on helping participants build confidence, increase independence and make measurable progress towards their NDIS goals.

- Can work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred support

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Full Australian working rights
