About us The National Institute of Beauty is an Australian RTO. We've been delivering online training for over 18 years and we've put thousands of graduates into work.

Our students are mostly women between 25 and 50 — career changers, mums returning to work, people who want to earn from a skill they love in weeks or months rather than years. When this job goes well, someone's life changes. That's not a line for an ad. It's why the calls are worth taking seriously.

What you'll do

- Work inbound enquiries. Every lead has already downloaded a course guide and made the enquiry. Phone and email. No cold calling, no lists.

- Run the consultation. Understand what someone's trying to build, then match them to the course that actually gets them there.

- Close. Move people from interested to enrolled, including the payment plan conversation.

- Hit your targets. Consistently, without losing the empathy that makes this sale work in the first place.

Who we're looking for

This is a role for an experienced education sales qualified.

- Minimum 1 year selling courses over the phone — RTO, VET, private college, edtech or similar. You've run a pipeline of warm enquiries, held consultations, and hit enrollment targets.

- You know this sale. Price objections. "I need to talk to my partner." Payment plans. The follow-up discipline that turns a booked consult into a completed one.

- You build rapport fast. These are real conversations with people making a significant decision, often nervously.





- Reliable working alone. You'll need to be self motivated to make this work!

- A team player with your own engine. You'll hit your own numbers and make the people around you better.

- You'll need a quiet dedicated workspace and reliable internet.

One thing to be clear about

If you're in a different role and looking for a change, we understand the appeal. But this one's built for people who've already done phone sales in education.

You don't need a beauty background at all. An interest in the industry and a willingness to learn the courses inside out is plenty. What you do need is a track record of selling courses over the phone, because you'll be closing in your first week rather than learning to.

This also isn't for you if

- You want a base salary with commission as a nice-to-have. The base is generous. The people who do well here are chasing the other $50,000.

- You want to be left alone. You'll be in a daily team meeting on MS Teams, and your calls and performance will be reviewed.
