Do?

Key Accountabilities A. IMS / Framework Development & Implementation Assist with the development, review and implementation of the Howden Australia IMS aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. Maintain and improve procedures, forms and templates; support document control and change management to keep site packs current and audit‑ready. (clarified from original) B.

Field

Assurance (Audits, Inspections, Permits) Conduct site inspections/audits of worksites, plant and equipment; identify hazards, assess risks, and verify control effectiveness. Verify correct use of PPE and compliance with permits to work and site standards. Prepare and submit site safety documentation (e.g., JSEAs, safety files) in collaboration with Service/Project Managers. C.

Incident

Response & Investigation Provide first‑response support to site incidents; lead/assist structured investigations (e.g., ICAM) to root cause; produce reports and corrective action plans; track closure to verify effectiveness. (method clarified) Record and report hazards, near misses, injuries and health issues; support trend analysis and lessons learned. D. Training, Engagement & Culture Deliver toolbox talks and targeted training topics; coach supervisors and contractors on safe work practices.

Reporting & Readiness Maintain accurate records (observations, audits, NCRs, VFLs); prepare monthly EHS status reports for trend analysis and management review. Support internal/external ISO audits and site readiness. F.

Work closely with Project/Service Managers, Engineers, site supervisors and client representatives to embed controls and resolve issues.

Your Physical Work Environment Will
