Whether you're looking for a local Brisbane-based role or a FIFO opportunity, you'll have the chance to work on complex brownfield and greenfield gas projects that play a vital role in Australia's energy sector.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of electrical and instrumentation works from planning through to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors and site leadership to drive project outcomes while building your career with one of Australia's leading industrial services providers.

Key Responsibilities include

- Deliver electrical engineering and technical support across all phases of project execution, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and project requirements.
- Manage electrical subcontractors, including scope development, planning, procurement coordination and field execution through to completion and handover.
- Develop project schedules, reporting and forward work plans while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and delays.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including MDRs, work packs, ITPs, ITRs, RFIs, Technical Queries and Management of Change (MOC) processes.

- Support procurement activities, material management and project cost control.
- Provide technical support to construction teams, ensuring installations meet quality, safety and engineering standards.
- Oversee electrical construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Champion Altrad's HSEQ culture by promoting secure work practices and maintaining compliance throughout project delivery.

This is an opportunity to work on some of Australia's most significant gas infrastructure projects while developing your technical expertise, expanding your project experience, and building a long-term career with a business experiencing sustained growth.

About you To be successful, you'll bring experience delivering electrical engineering solutions within oil & gas, energy or heavy industrial construction projects and enjoy working in a quick-paced project environment.

You'll also have

- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
- Experience delivering electrical engineering on oil & gas or major industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and gas facility construction.
- Experience with hazardous area (HA) electrical installations, instrumentation systems and commissioning activities.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site-based electrical works.
- Knowledge of HV installations and electrical testing (highly regarded).
- Proven experience preparing and managing quality documentation including ITPs, ITRs, MDRs and electrical handover documentation.
- Strong planning, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard project management software.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
