We are seeking a motivated and proactive Electrician to join our Maintenance Team. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in ensuring the ongoing reliability, efficiency, and performance of our production facility and plant equipment.
Working within a safety-focused environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical systems across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on fixed and mobile plant equipment and Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards
- Performing scheduled maintenance and breakdown support
- Collaborating with the maintenance and engineering teams to improve reliability and project implementation.
- Performing preventative maintenance on production equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans.
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Complete breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.
- Support continuous improvement and display a strong focus on Workplace WHS compliance.
About You Essential Skills & Experience
- Electrical trade qualification and current electrical licence.
- Sound literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and accurately record information and data.
- Experience working with SOPs and computer-based systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Current driver's licence.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts during the annual vintage period (January to April). This role is primarily day shift outside of the vintage season.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications are essential.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.
- Previous experience with PLC systems essential
- The successful applicants must have their own reliable transport.
