Your new company Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex employee matters? We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Employee Relations Advisor to join a large Queensland Government organisation and provide critical support during a significant workforce project. Your new role Reporting to the Employee & Industrial Relations team, you will play a key role in supporting complex employee matters and workforce-related investigations.
Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will help ensure accurate documentation, reporting and communication activities are delivered to a high standard Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting employee relations investigations and case management activities.
- Preparing accurate and defensible employee correspondence, reports and briefing materials.
- Coordinating information requests and stakeholder responses across multiple business areas.
- Monitoring and maintaining trackers, action registers, decision logs and reporting tools.
- Assisting with project coordination, milestone tracking and governance activities.
- Producing regular updates and progress reports for senior stakeholders.
- Handling sensitive employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Providing broader employee relations support as required.
What you'll need to succeed - Previous experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or complex case management environments.
- Strong ability to manage high volumes of work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience preparing employee correspondence, reports, briefings and recommendations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret and synthesise information from multiple sources.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly across Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive matters.
