- We innovate. Lead engineering services that shape and enhance our community. About the role The City of Canada Bay Council is seeking an experienced and team-oriented Engineering Services Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality engineering services across the organisation.

This is a key leadership role within the Strategic Asset Services and Innovation (SASI) Business Unit. The position leads Council's key engineering functions, overseeing the assessment, planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, engineering programs and services while providing strategic leadership to ensure sustainable outcomes for the community. In this role you will:

Lead Council's engineering services and provide strategic direction.

Oversee the delivery of infrastructure projects and engineering programs.

Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.

Manage budgets, resources and project delivery.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and safety requirements.

Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement.





Prepare strategic reports and provide advice to senior leadership and Council. Are You the Ideal Candidate?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Extensive experience leading engineering teams and delivering infrastructure projects and capital works programs.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering, asset management and infrastructure planning within a local government or similar environment.

Experience managing budgets, resources and operational service delivery.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The ability to provide strategic advice and solve complex engineering challenges.

A commitment to workplace health and safety and delivering high-quality customer outcomes.

A current Class C Driver License and Construction Induction (White Card). What’s on offer
