About The Role

- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.




- Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
- Casual cleaning position/s offering on call, short term and long term roles. Split shifts - mornings and afternoons, flexible position/s.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across school facilities, including classrooms, offices, amenities and outdoor areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sanitising, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, waste removal and floor maintenance.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance, safety or security issues.
- Assist with school security procedures, including opening, closing and securing buildings.
- Liaise with the Principal/Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies, repairs and site requirements.
- Provide professional support and direct visitors to appropriate school personnel when required.
