About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced EST Trainer to join our Education & Training team based in Parramatta. As an EST Trainer, you will deliver engaging and practical training designed to enhance participants’ job readiness, confidence and employability skills.

The Employability Skills Training (EST) program supports individuals aged 15 years and over to improve their job readiness, identify transferrable skills and develop the confidence and capabilities needed to secure employment.

Reporting to the EST and CTA Program Manager, the EST Trainer will facilitate both group-based and individual learning experiences that empower participants to achieve their employment goals. Key responsibilities of this role will include:

- Delivering high-quality workshops and coaching sessions to diverse participant groups.
- Identifying existing skills and transferability to other jobs or industries.
- Exploring opportunities in the local job market, career pathways and labour market trends.
- Providing practical guidance on resume writing, cover letters, interview preparation and effective job search techniques.
- Develop participants’ digital literacy skills,



including online job applications and professional networking platforms.
- Facilitating employer visits, workplace excursions and work placements.
- Maintaining accurate participant records and meet program compliance requirements.

About You The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:

- Experience delivering employability, career development, vocational or workforce readiness training.
- A passion for delivering employability skills training and assisting job seekers to achieve their career aspirations.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with an understanding of compliance and reporting requirements.
- Availability to work 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) and the willingness to travel across Greater Western Sydney as required.
