About the Role

Working alongside our experienced Operations and Project teams, you'll help prepare quotations and estimates for fabrication and installation projects. You'll review drawings, measure quantities, obtain supplier pricing and assist in preparing accurate, competitive tenders. As your experience grows, you'll take on greater responsibility and manage your own tenders from enquiry through to handover.

Your Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing estimates and quotations for engineering and fabrication projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Complete material and labour take-offs.
- Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Help prepare tender submissions and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers and workshop staff to develop practical solutions.
- Support project handovers following successful tenders.
- Maintain estimating records and pricing information.
- Contribute ideas to improve estimating processes and systems.

About You





We're looking for someone who is organised, enjoys problem solving and has an interest in engineering and construction.

You'll ideally have

- 2–5 years' experience in estimating, project coordination, fabrication, mechanical engineering or a similar role.
- Experience working in an engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Robust attention to detail and good numerical skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A trade qualification, engineering qualification or practical workshop experience would be highly regarded.
