About your next role We currently have an opportunity for an estimator to join our estimating department, with a commencement date starting as soon as possible. You will be an integral member of the estimating department and will assist the team to achieve their goals. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grow with a company that is expanding by the minute, where no one day is the same.





What you will be doing:

Duties include but will not be limited to the following;

1. Provide accurate bill of quantities for projects by gathering information and analysing important metrics
2. Build relationships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, supervisors, suppliers, various trades, and agents
3. Source and analyse quotes from suppliers
4. Conduct research, create and request quotations

Who are we looking for? Ideally we are looking for someone who has:

1. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail – Perfectionists are very welcome!
2. Exposure to estimating systems including Databuild and Planswift are highly advantageous
3. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within the residential building sector
4. Demonstrable experience working as an estimator within the volume home building industry is preferred
5. Working knowledge of the building and construction process
6. Trade or relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded
7. Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines with excellent time management and organisational skills
8. Positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well within a team
9. Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner
