Urgent requirement of EUC Engineer - Contract - Adelaide
Requirements
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade IT equipment and software per company standards.
- Manage user account creation, password resets, and access rights in Active Directory/O365.
- Maintain and support AV/conference room equipment and provide hands-on support for meetings.
- Liaise with remote support teams and vendors for escalations and hardware replacements.
- Maintain asset inventory and ensure equipment lifecycle management (procurement, imaging, disposal).
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and recovering user devices.
- Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the ITSM system.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in an onsite EUC or desktop support role.
- Solid troubleshooting skills in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and general desktop environments.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, and BMC Helix (or similar ITSM tool).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Experience supporting hardware from vendors like Dell, HP, Lenovo.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and mobile device management.
Duration: 6 Months and possible extension
