Play a key role in shaping our performance across our InfraBuild Recycling business. Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Port Adelaide site, the Excavator/Material Handleroperator will perform a range of duties within the metal recycling yard.
This is a permanent day shift role offering regular overtime before 8am and paid leave! There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.
What you will be doing:
- Operating a Material Handler/Excavator
- Operating a forklift if/when ticketed
- Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
- Loading scrap metal onto conveyor for processing through the shredder
- Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
- Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
- Adhering to safety procedures at all times You will be rewarded with:

- Experience operating a Material Handler/Excavator
- Forklift ticket, desirable
- Mobile shearing on an excavator advantageous
- Experience in scrap recycling, civil construction, waste or manufacturing is highly advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
