The Role: We have an opportunity for an experienced Executive Producer to lead our production team and play a key role in shaping Yakusan's future, from new business through to the flawless delivery of experiential and brand activation campaigns for some of Australia's most exciting brands. Reporting into the Managing Director and sitting on our Exec Leadership team, you will set the standard for creative and operational excellence, embedded in the work as much as leading it, while mentoring a high-performing production team and driving the commercial outcomes that fuel Yakusan’s growth.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with the MD, CSD and ED to convert new business opportunities, shaping strategic and creative responses, budgets, and pitch materials that win. Lead the production team’s delivery of best-practice integrated brand experiences, staying embedded in projects from concept through to on-site execution. Own budget and supplier management across projects, maintaining creative integrity and ensuring quality, time,



and margin targets are met.

Drive financial performance across the production slate, including cost estimates, forecasting, and profitability targets. Lead, mentor, develop and grow the production team through day-to-day coaching and regular One2Ones and goal setting. Play a key role on the Exec Leadership team, helping shape Yakusan’s business plan, team, and services.

Can step in and Project lead from time to time on larger more integrated projects.

What You Bring: 8+ years’ experience in agency production. Proven track record delivering impactful, creative, experiential, and integrated campaigns. Solid technical production expertise, with the ability to oversee complex builds and installations.

Exceptional client leadership and communication skills, with credibility at senior levels. Outstanding strategic and creative acumen, with the ability to inspire clients and teams. Demonstrated experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.

Strong financial and commercial management capability, including budget forecasting and profitability oversight. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, with Monday.com and AccountAbility favourable.

Experience with alcohol brands highly advantageous.
