Exercise Physiologist – Wide Bay Region

Wide Bay Exercise Physiology is seeking a values-driven Exercise Physiologist to join our growing practice in Bundaberg.

Make the sunny shift to Bundaberg, where historical significance meets the ocean. Our practice is located in town, less than 15 minutes from beautiful places such as Bargara beach. This role presents an exciting opportunity for you to grow within one of the leading Exercise Physiology practices in the Bundaberg & Wide Bay region.

Our practice currently services 39+ active clients with consistent referrals from 7+ GPs, 1 Geriatrician, and 3 Allied health clinics. Addition to this, you'll be part of a blend of GP + Case Manager relationships with WorkCover (return to work). Caseload has grown 40% over the past 12 months and continues to exceed capacity.

We are expanding gym-based services and currently at capacity with waitlisted home visits.

About you:

- You'll be accredited with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Possess high-level clinical reasoning and autonomous decision-making skills
- Have strong case report writing and professional communication with referrers and allied health partners
- Be organized, reliable, and able to prioritize workload independently
- Willing to contribute to clinical standards and practice development
- Be confident managing a diverse and complex caseload (private, older adults, chronic conditions, WorkCover, NDIS, and compensable clients)
- Be comfortable working across gym-based, hydrotherapy, and mobile settings
- On top of this, we will provide mentoring & supervision into the role & beyond this, ongoing support

1. You will initially undertake shadow sessions with a transition to shared patient settings
2. You will be introduced to referral partners & educated on our practitioner systems
3. Bonus weekly 1:1 mentoring with alternate fortnights focusing & conducting case reviews
