About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Senior Stylist to join our team at Pierrots Hair Studios in Mount Lawley, Western Australia. This is a full-time position that offers you the opportunity to showcase your expertise and lead by example within our salon environment. As a Senior Stylist, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality hair and services to our valued clients, whilst also contributing to the professional development of our styling team.

This role is integral to maintaining the reputation and standards that Pierrots Hair Studios is known for.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide expert hair cutting, colouring, and styling services that exceed client expectations and align with current industry trends
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a personalised and professional experience for repeat and new clients
3. Mentor and guide junior stylists and apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices to develop their skills and confidence
4. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, health and safety protocols within the salon environment
5. Contribute to the overall aesthetic and cleanliness of the salon by maintaining professional standards in your work area

6.Stay current with the latest styling techniques, products and industry developments through continuous professional development
1. Provide consultations with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored styling solutions

Support the team in achieving salon targets and contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5+ years of professional hairstyling experience gained in a salon setting
2. Recognised qualification or apprenticeship in hairdressing and styling
3. Advanced technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling across a diverse range of hair types and client preferences
4. Proven ability to lead, mentor and support junior team members in a supportive manner
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction
6. Professional presentation and a genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry
7. Strong time management and organisational abilities to manage multiple clients efficiently
8. Knowledge of current hair and beauty trends and techniques
9. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst maintaining professional standards independently
