What does a Express Ute Driver do at NHS?

This is an active, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys driving, staying busy and providing great service.

You’ll play an important role in delivering customer orders safely, accurately and on time across the Newcastle and Hunter region. As one of the faces of NHS Trade on customer sites, you’ll help create a positive customer experience through safe work practices, clear communication and reliable service.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Delivering customer orders safely and on time
- Loading products and securing them for transport
- Completing vehicle checks and keeping the utes clean and safe
- Completing delivery paperwork, photos and site checks




- Assisting customers with unloading products safely
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Following road rules, safety requirements and company procedures
- Supporting warehouse and yard teams when required

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who

- Has a current Driver Licence, manual preferred
- Has a good driving record
- Takes safety seriously
- Is reliable, punctual and dependable
- Communicates well with customers and team members
- Can work independently when out on deliveries
- Has good attention to detail
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to help the wider team

A forklift licence and White Card are desirable but not essential.

Previous experience in deliveries, building supplies, warehousing, logistics or customer service is advantageous but not essential. We value attitude, reliability, safe work practices and willingness to learn.
