The Lucas Group is recruiting an experienced Farm Manager on behalf of a respected Australian family owned agricultural business.

Managing a 10,000ha property running approximately 70,000 DSE, you'll work closely with the General Manager to oversee all day-to-day livestock operations. The enterprise includes 2,000 self-replacing Angus breeders and 7,000–10,000 fine wool Merino ewes, managed within EU and ZQ accreditation guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a modern livestock operation with strong systems, quality infrastructure and a supportive company culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a team of permanent, casual and contract staff
- Manage cattle and sheep production programs
- Implement rotational grazing, pasture and fodder programs
- Maintain livestock and compliance records
- Ensure EU and ZQ accreditation standards are met
- Oversee plant, machinery and water infrastructure
- Report on farm performance and operational outcomes

About You

You’ll have

- Proven Farm Manager or senior livestock management experience
- Strong cattle and sheep production knowledge
- Experience leading teams of people
- Good computer skills and farm management software experience




- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A practical, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- Commitment to sustainable farming and environmental stewardship
