Job Overview

Our team is creating the next generation of Oil & Gas tools that will utilize unique materials to improve structural integrity of wells as well as provide robust solutions for their decommissioning. The innovative & proprietary platform is rapidly evolving, and we are looking for strong individuals to join our team in the role of Field Engineer to both represent and deliver our services to our clients in the field.

Duties:

- Performing field operations, ensuring effective use of resources and capabilities
- Provide technical support to clients on the wellsite
- Ability to adapt to frequently changing timelines and schedules
- Ability to work in a variety of different climates & willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done
- Coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure client requirements are met
- Report all service quality incidents to the appropriate groups within the organization
- Ability to follow test plans and assembly instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

- Able to work individually as well as in a team environment

QualificationsRequirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years previous field experience
- Wireline experience mandatory
- Cased-hole wireline experience preferred
- Offshore experience mandatory
- Prior experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with job reporting and ticketing
- Aptitude with MS Office and formal reports
- Ability to travel internationally (valid passport)

Working Location

- This is predominantly a field based role, however an extensive period of time in the manufacturing facility will be required in order to gain a thorough understanding of the range of tools available, their design & assembly and to become fully competent in the redress and building of new tools in the field or at remote locations. Thereafter, you may be required in the base to supervise tool load outs, attend meetings with management and/or clients, contribute to new product innovation & familiarize yourself with new technology developments prior to mobilizing to the field location and to provide support to manufacturing during times of peak demand.
