Field Service Person (Service Technician)- full time, Adelaide

NCH Australia (part of Solenis companies) is a leader in industrial maintenance solutions serving a wide range of industries—from small automotive service centres to major mining operations. We have over 100 years of global history and have operated in Australia for over 60 years. We currently have a full-time position available for a Field Service Person. This is a hands-on role primarily based in Adelaide, with travel to country areas of South Australia.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities
- Vehicle & License: Must own a reliable vehicle and hold a full driver’s license (able to present remaining license points at the interview).
- Experience: Proven track record in a similar hands-on role.
- Servicing & Maintenance: Manually clean, service, and perform scheduled maintenance on parts cleaning equipment and other company machinery in industrial and commercial mechanical workshops.
- Installation & Refurbishment: Install workshop parts cleaning equipment and refurbish returned equipment (ongoing training provided).
- Reporting & Tech:
Ability to use basic computer skills and our mobile app system (device provided) to complete service reports and access required online systems.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, energetic, able to work unsupervised, and enjoys building strong customer relationships.
- Communication: Good written and spoken English skills.
- Site Access & Safety: Practice safe work habits and complete customer site inductions where required.
- Travel: Ability to travel to regional/country South Australia approximately once a month.
- Reporting: Report directly to the Area Manager and Program Manager.
- Electrical License (Advantage): Holding a Disconnect and Reconnect Electrical License is an advantage, but not essential.
