Programmed Energy & Resources are seeking experienced Safety Advisors to support the Perdaman CERES Construction Project on the Burrup Peninsula, Western Australia.
This role will provide dedicated afternoon shift HSE support to construction crews delivering modular office buildings and associated infrastructure on one of WA's largest industrial developments. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment while supporting site leadership and ensuring compliance with project safety requirements.
This is an opportunity to work on a major industrial construction project delivering modular office facilities, including electrical installation, fit-out and inter-module connections.
Project Details
? Location: Burrup Peninsula, WA (FIFO from Perth)
? Commencement: Early August 2026
? Project Duration: Until late September 2026
? Roster: 14 Days On / 7 Days Off (subject to project requirements)
? Shift: Afternoon Shift 2:00pm start - subject to confirmation
⏱️ Hours: 10-hour shifts
? Pay Rate: from $115.00 flat per hour + applicable Local & Distant Travel Allowances
✈️ FIFO: Flights, accommodation, meals and bus transport provided
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, you will provide dedicated safety support to the afternoon shift workforce by:
- Conducting workplace inspections and field leadership activities
- Leading pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety interactions
- Monitoring compliance with site safety procedures and project work rules
- Assisting with incident reporting and investigations
- Supporting hazard identification and risk management activities
- Promoting a positive safety culture across the project
- Liaising with client representatives and site management on HSE matters
About You To be successful you will have:
- Previous experience as a Safety Advisor within construction, mining, oil & gas or major projects ✔ Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
✔ Current White Card
✔ Current Australian Driver's Licence
✔ Strong understanding of HSE legislation and risk management principles
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
✔ Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
Supervisors & Experienced HSE Professionals Encouraged to Apply
Candidates with extensive project experience or higher-level HSE qualifications are encouraged to apply. Remuneration may be reviewed based on experience and capability.
