About the role: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer APAC (CFO APAC), the Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing high-quality financial insight, analysis, reporting and business intelligence and planning support, and commercial advice to the Australian operations.

Based in Support Office Finance,



the role partners closely with operational leaders to help them understand financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, improve profitability, and make informed business decisions. The role is expected to move beyond traditional reporting by translating financial and operational data into practical recommendations, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, strengthening business performance reviews, and helping embed finance as an active business partner across Australian branches and support functions

Key Accountabilities include:

- Assisting the CFO APAC and the Executive Leadership Team to in providing financial insight, challenge, and support for the day-to-day and strategic business decisions.
- Assisting the Finance Manager, Australia with the review of the month-end Australian business and branch P&L; analysis, ensuring there is adequate explanations to variances to budget and last year, to contribute to the month-end business performance review internal control process.
- Working in partnership with the CFO APAC and GM Finance NZ & Asia and the Executive Leadership Team to enhance the financial data models and reporting, automate the financial reporting using Power BI. Explore recent technologies including the use of other automation tools, machine learning and AI and their potential adoption in accounting & finance and making recommendations.




- Assisting in embedding Workday Adaptive Planning into the Australian group of businesses to support branch and business unit forecasts, scenario modelling, and financial planning.
- Forecasting and analysing financial data to understand profitability trends and advise on cost containment, support the branches to adjust within current and following months to meet profit and revenue targets.

What We’re Looking For: This is an all-encompassing role so you will have a minimum of four years’ experience as a finance business partner managing financial accounting and reporting. You will be a Chartered Accountant or equivalent and experience in Fringe Benefit Tax, GST and Company Income Tax will be beneficial.

You will have prior experience managing a small sized team while understanding of matrix organisation and demonstrate leadership traits, be highly organised, and have resilience, tenacity, be positive and motivational. In addition to you being proactive, solutions focused and eager to develop a long-term career with Alsco Uniforms.

Key Skills and Experience:

- CPA/CA qualification required, with a degree in Accounting
- People management skills with a passion for team development
- Strong stakeholder management & business partnering experiences will be essential.
- Proven experience in business partnering or management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, inventory, delivering consistently accurate and clear information
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and month-end close processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- Brings a mindset focused on continuous improvement and collaboration
