Kakadu Tourism We are seeking an experienced and motivatedFinance Manager ( Assistant Financial Controller) to join our onsite leadership team. This hands‑on role supports the Financial Controller in managing the full financial function of the lodge, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance across all departments.

Task & responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Maintain general ledger accuracy,



including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with end‑of‑month and end‑of‑year close processes Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including supplier payments and guest invoicing Monitor payroll processing, compliance, and reconciliations Ensure robust internal controls across revenue, expenses, inventory, and cash handling Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required Work closely with department heads (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Tours) to monitor costs and improve financial performance Assist with stock control, inventory counts, and cost of goods analysis Review revenue streams including accommodation, F&B;, tours, and retail Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory, and regulatory requirements Assist with BAS, GST, and other reporting obligations Support continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
