How you will Contribute: As Finance Officer, you will play a key role in keeping the finance operations running smoothly across multiple business entities. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team to ensure accurate reporting, effective processes and timely financial insights, while taking full ownership of accounts receivable.
- Managing a high-volume inbox, daily collections, debtor reporting and statement generation;
- Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations;
- Support the preparation and distribution of weekly reporting;
- Process daily data entry, including customer receipt allocation in the finance system;
- Manage the accounts payable inbox, vendor setup, invoice entry and assist with payment runs;
- Ensure financial data integrity for accurate and timely reporting;
- Drive collections activity and manage system-generated reminders; and
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager and finance team.
What we’re Looking for: Our client is seeking a motivated finance professional to join a dynamic team and make an impact. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven and delivers high-quality work. You work well independently and collaboratively, communicate confidently with colleagues and clients, and handle both hands-on and analytical tasks.
- 1-2 years’ experience in finance roles, particularly managing receivables and payables;
- Strong financial capability and willingness to learn;
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SAGE is a plus; and
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business is desirable.
