Toll People are recruiting for Stevedores for our client based at East Arm Wharf. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, a safety focus, and enjoy working in a faced-paced environment. Ideally suited for someone looking for a second job with shift hours.

About the role:

- Casual Position (on call roster) On going for the right persons
- Adaptable rosters & shift hours
- Competitive rates (flat - base rate)

Skills & Experience:

- Must be fit, able and willing for manual work
- Hold a current manual driver's licence (NT)
- Ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card
- Flexibility to work shifts (days/evenings/weekend as required)
- Availability to work at short notice
- Perform tasks without supervision when required
- Forklift licence - essential
- Dogging/Rigging ticket - highly desirable
- Experience in slinging loads - highly desirable
- Ability to work at heights- training in this area highly desirable

What we need from you:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Demonstrated safety practices and behaviours
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment




- Ability to work well within a small team environment
- High Risk License in Forklift
- Driver's licence required
