Requirements

- Several years of classroom teaching experience,



ideally across primary and/or secondary settings
- Prior experience in a leadership or coordination role, such as Head of Department, Senior Teacher, Assistant Principal or equivalent
- Experience mentoring early-career or provisionally registered teachers
- Experience supporting teachers who are skilled but new to the Australian education context
- Experience engaging with parents and community stakeholders, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Experience in student wellbeing, behaviour management and pastoral care systems
- Experience in school growth or change management contexts, highly desirable
- Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school
- Current Working with Vulnerable People registration in the ACT
