The Role
As a Hospital Pharmacist, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services to a diverse patient population within a busy outpatient department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing prescription medications accurately and in accordance with all legal and professional standards.
- Providing expert medication counselling and support to patients.
- Working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting effective stock management.
- Advising patients on medicines, treatments, and healthcare products.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services and patient care.
About the Pharmacy
This is a thriving outpatient pharmacy that dispenses approximately 22,000 prescription items each month, providing exposure to a wide variety of clinical cases and treatments.

What We're Looking For
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous pharmacy experience (hospital experience is advantageous but not essential).
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to continuous professional development.
- Positive, flexible, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
