Role Description The Finance Broker is a full-time, in office role based in Mawson Lakes, SA. This role involves meeting with clients to understand their financial needs, assessing their circumstances, and recommending suitable finance and insurance solutions. The Finance Broker will prepare and submit loan applications, liaise with lenders and insurers, follow up on approvals, and manage documentation to ensure a smooth end-to-end process. Daily tasks include researching products, comparing rates and terms, maintaining accurate client records, and complying with all regulatory and industry requirements. The role also includes building referral networks, nurturing existing client relationships,



and contributing to the growth of Focus Financial Solutions through professional, client-focused service.

Qualifications

- Strong grounding in Finance and Financial Services, with the ability to interpret lending criteria and financial products.
- Experience or knowledge in Financial Planning to help clients understand broader financial implications of borrowing decisions.
- Competence in Commercial Finance for business clients, including understanding of business lending structures and cash flow needs.
- Familiarity with Insurance products related to finance solutions, such as loan protection and asset insurance.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent; RG146 or similar accreditation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build client trust.
- Proficiency with finance software, CRM systems, and standard office applications; prior brokerage or banking experience is highly regarded.
