THE ROLE

The rolewill lead, as needed, the development of budget bids, Cabinetsubmissions andpapersand briefingssuitable forinformingseniorexecutive and ministerial decision making. The position will requireexcellentwritten and verbal communication skills, anda strong understanding ofpolicyand budget setting processes. The role holderwill also have the skills andability to work collaborativelyanduse initiativeto supportdeliveryina fast-pacedand changing policyenvironment.

The position will require highly developed leadership and people management skills, high level written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to be responsive to tasks including the provision of responses in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative and skilled leader motivated to work in partnership with front line practitioners, operational and system leaders, clients and technology partners to generate cutting-edge yet feasible solutions that improve client outcomes.

Accountabilities Include

- Successfully deliver the Reform and Design work stream, overseeing the associated work packages within the resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Manage a small team of Design Leads focused on the relevant specialist service streams of the program.
- Provide high quality authoritative advice and sound recommendations to the Director, Service Reform and Design; working closely with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the business case adequately reflects business strategy and needs.
