Reporting to the Executive Chef our Food Services Assistants (FSAs) perform the safe preparation and delivery of meals to patients and staff, whilst working within a supportive and close-knit team environment. Occasional shifts in our onsite public Cafe may also be available.
As our new FSA you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:
· Safe Food Handling certificate (desirable)
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Previous experience within a food service environment
· Previous Barista experience
· Excellent time management skills
· Demonstrated knowledge of Food Hygiene Procedures
· Ability to work within Food Safety Guidelines
· Ability to work as a team and perform tasks independently
· Ability to work shifts on both weekdays and weekends
· Recent experience within a health care facility (or equivalent)
· Understanding of infection control guidelines
· Knowledge of manual handling principles and environmental hygiene standards
Remuneration:
Remuneration is paid in line with the Maryvale Private Hospital Support Services Enterprise Agreement (2023) with a base hourly rate of between $28.37 - $29.42 (excluding casual loading and superannuation).
