This contract position offers the chance to work within a collaborative product development team, supporting innovation and continuous improvement projects across a diverse product portfolio. The successful candidate will be available to work full time initially, with flexibility to transition to reduced hours later in the year as required.
Key Responsibilities - Assist with new product development and product improvement projects
- Conduct factory and laboratory trials
- Support product formulation and recipe development
- Analyse trial results and prepare technical reports
- Maintain accurate product specifications and documentation
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements About You - Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related discipline
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Exposure to product development activities, whether through industry employment, internships, or university projects
- Strong technical understanding of food science principles
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities
