Bidfood Truganina is looking for a dependable and friendly individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator at our branch. This is a fulltime role covering the morning shift.

About the role

Bidfood Truganina is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for receiving, moving, replenishing, and loading stock efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards. You’ll work closely with our receivals, picking, and despatch teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate stock management.

Successful applicants will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proven forklift experience, and a commitment to safe work practices in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Lift, stack and unstack stock and material using electric and powered trucks equipped with forks
- Ensure bin locations are replenished daily
- Pick stock when needed
- Keep a record of daily operations
- General warehouse maintenance and cleanliness.
- General daily maintenance of materials handling equipment.
- Observe and report non-conforming or defect product to stock controller.
- Act accordingly to reduce warehouse expenses through minimising damages, wastage and overtime.
- Participate in stock take functions
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Operations Manager / Leading Hand
- Represent & promote Bidfood at all times

About you You’re the kind of person who gets along with just about anyone, shows up on time and genuinely enjoys a job well done. You’re confident and courteous while performing your duties.

Skills and Experience:

- A current forklift licence with high reach experience (essential)
- Be physically fit




- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work in the freezer storage area at minus 25 degrees temperature
- Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment medical
