TikTok Instagram Reels Editing Creative Direction

Brisbane | Starting at approximately 10 hours per week | Freelance with potential to grow

We’re looking for a talented Content Creator / Videographer / Video Editor to work closely with me to create exceptional short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.

Initially, this will be approximately 10 hours per week, including around 5 hours of filming with our Diva Founder each week, plus editing and content development.

We may increase the hours as the brand grows, with the potential for this freelance role to develop into part-time and eventually full-time.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who wants to be involved in the whole content creation process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

FILM & DIRECT

Film weekly content with the CEO at her location

Direct her on camera and help her feel natural, confident and engaging

Shoot Reels, TikToks, talking-head videos, lifestyle content, B-roll and behind-the-scenes footage

Help plan filming days and batch content efficiently

Know how to get the best shots, angles and moments from every filming session

CREATE THE IDEAS

Develop fresh content concepts and recurring series

Come up with scroll-stopping hooks

Create titles, opening lines and angles

Turn conversations, stories and ideas into compelling social content

Identify opportunities for highly shareable or potentially viral content

Bring your own creative ideas to the table

EDIT LIKE A PRO

Edit short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram

Create dynamic, fast-moving and engaging edits

Add captions, text, music, sound effects and visual elements

Understand pacing and the importance of the first few seconds

Repurpose footage into multiple pieces of content

Create content that feels polished, current and social-first

UNDERSTAND SOCIAL

You genuinely understand what makes people stop scrolling.

You know what’s working on TikTok and Instagram.

You understand trends,



but you’re also creative enough to create something original.

You understand that content needs to do more than look beautiful.

THE DETAILS

- Location: Brisbane / On-site
- Type: Freelance / Contractor
- Starting hours: Approximately 10 hours per week
- Filming: Approximately 5 hours per week initially
- Potential: Opportunity to grow into part-time and potentially full-time

We’ll begin by creating consistent weekly content, either through regular filming or efficient content-batching sessions.

The role may expand as the brand, audience and content output grow.
