We are partnering with a leading health services provider to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead a high-performing finance team and play a key role in supporting sustainable financial performance across a large and complex environment. This organisation is a major provider of integrated health services, with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and supporting the community, the organisation operates in a highly collaborative workplace where finance plays a critical role in enabling strategic priorities and effective service delivery.

The Prospect

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this leadership role is responsible for managing the Financial Planning & Analysis function, driving high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business insights to support executive decision-making. Leading a team of finance professionals, you will play a key role in strengthening financial capability across the organisation, improving reporting frameworks and partnering with senior stakeholders to enhance financial performance and accountability. You will also be responsible for partnering with the business on system implementation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FP&A; leader who combines strong technical capability with the ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships across a complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities - Lead, coach and develop the Financial Planning & Analysis team, building capability in stakeholder management, reporting and business analysis.

- Drive the annual budgeting process, forecasting cycles and financial
- planning activities to support strategic objectives.
- Deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting,



analysis and performance insights to support decision-making.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand financial drivers, analyse performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead month-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and meaningful insights into financial performance.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
- Lead the development and enhancement of financial reporting solutions, including Power BI dashboards and analytic.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of finance systems, ensuring effective planning models, reporting structures and data integrity.
- Establish governance, standards and processes to improve consistency, transparency and quality of financial information.

About You

You will be an experienced finance leader with a strong background in financial planning, analysis and business partnering. You will be comfortable operating in a complex environment and have the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights that influence strategic outcomes.

You will ideally bring

- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- CA/CPA qualification highly regarded.
- Proven experience leading financial planning, reporting and analysis functions within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting.




- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders and providing strategic financial advice.
- Experience leading finance transformation, reporting improvements or system implementations.
- Strong capability with reporting and analytic tools, including Power BI and experience with enterprise planning systems such as Oracle EPM.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- A people-focused leadership style with experience coaching and developing finance professionals. Why Join?
