What does a Freight Expeditor do at NHS?

This is a busy, hands-on coordination role suited to someone who enjoys staying organised, communicating clearly and keeping things moving.

Reporting to the Freight Manager, you’ll help coordinate the scheduling and delivery of customer orders across our Beresfield branch. You’ll work closely with our freight, sales, warehouse and yard teams to make sure deliveries are prepared, dispatched and communicated effectively.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and scheduling customer deliveries
- Communicating with customers about delivery timing and updates
- Working closely with drivers,warehouse and sales teams




- Monitoring daily delivery schedules and managing changes or delays
- Ensuring delivery paperwork, transport documentation and system records are accurate
- Supporting safe freight operations and following NHS WHS requirements
- Building strong working relationships with internal teams and customers
- Looking for ways to improve delivery performance, service and efficiency

- Holds a current driver’s licence (Provisional or above)

Previous experience in building supplies, warehousing, logistics or yard operations is advantageous. We value attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
