Canfreight is looking for an MR delivery driver for furniture delivery and assembly within ACT and surrounding region. Work for this role is currently 5 days per week Tuesday to Saturday.
We're a locally owned company with a small close knit team providing very high level of service, reliability, and communication. We service many of the major furniture retailers within Canberra ensuring their customers are left satisfied with their purchases and eager to come back for more!
We require someone who is able to:
- Lift & deliver sometimes heavy furniture into customers homes
- Drive our 11 tonne Isuzu pantech truck
- Hold a valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence or with 4.5tonne driving experience
- Read and interpret assembly instructions
- Assemble furniture carefully and efficiently
- Use basic battery power tools
- SMS customers, read online run sheets, communicate effectively
